A NEW McDonald's restaurant in Basingstoke will open tomorrow at Chineham Shopping Centre.

The fast food establishment, which will open on Wednesday, May 22, will be open 24/7. It will feature table service, self-ordering kiosks, a large outside patio area and McDelivery.

The 133-seater restaurant will create around 100 full and part-time jobs in the area and feature McDonald's  ‘Convenience of the Future’ programme.

The programme combines a new layout with the latest technology to create a 'more seamless and enjoyable experience for customers'.

Some of the features customers can expect to see at McDonald's include a front counter redesign with specific areas for different sales channels, a dedicated courier waiting area and entrance, a new kitchen design with a larger assembly area, and improved break spaces for staff.

The opening of the restaurant marks the fourth McDonald's location in Basingstoke, with three branches currently in the town, and a planning application for a fifth location submitted for Hatch Warren Retail Park.

The new restaurant is located in Chineham Shopping Centre, Basingstoke, Unit C, Chineham, RG24 8BQ.
