A BASINGSTOKE pub which closed permanently last year remains empty - six months after its closure.
As previously reported, The Beacon in South Ham, shut its doors for the last time on November 12, announcing its immediate closure on the pub's Facebook page.
The pub was originally planned to close later in the month, however, vans arrived at The Beacon on the morning of November 12 and the premises was boarded up.

A spokesperson for Greene King told the Gazette in November: "We have no plans in place for the site at the moment."
Now, six months after the pub was boarded up, a spokesperson from Greene King has confirmed that there are no updates on the plans for The Beacon.
The brewery has also failed to explain the reasoning behind the closure, saying in a previous statement that 'multiple factors are always considered' and 'making the decision to close a pub is never an easy one'.
