BELLWAY Wessex has started construction on the second phase of 57 homes at Longfield Place in Sherfield on Loddon.
This follows the completion of phase one featuring 150 properties.
The new phase, part of a 200-plus housing development, will deliver 34 private homes and 23 affordable properties for local renters and shared owners.
Currently, three and four-bedroom homes are available for reservation, starting at £449,995 and £599,995 respectively.
Groundwork commenced in March 2024 after plans for the 6.8-acre site were approved by Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council in June 2023.

Jon Rance, sales manager for Bellway Wessex, said: “The site team has now begun work on phase two at Longfield Place, after our detailed plans were given the go-ahead by the local authority.
"The first residents moved onto phase one of the development in September 2022 and since then we have handed the keys over for another 58 new homes.
"The second phase will see us deliver a further choice of houses for sale to help meet the requirements of the local housing market. We very much see this new phase as a natural continuation of the selection of the homes being provided in the first phase."
