A SPECIALIST neurological rehabilitation centre is opening in Basingstoke this summer after it was given the green light by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
The Hamberley Neurocare service, in Bradley Way, will provide complex care services for people with neurological conditions.
The contemporary 27-bedroom building features therapy and medical consulting rooms and a therapy gym fitted with state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment including robotics.
The arrival of Hamberley Neurocare in Basingstoke will also mean the creation of 50 new jobs for the town, including more than 14 clinical roles.

Home manager Gill Irish said the team are ready and eager to open the new service next month.
Gill said: “We’re delighted to have been given the go-ahead from the CQC and to start working with the residents.
“For us, it’s all about empowering people to lead meaningful and fulfilling lives, and with exceptional rehabilitation facilities and a multi-disciplinary team on board, we can do that.
“It’s a privilege to do this work as part of the Basingstoke care community.”
Hamberley Neurocare Basingstoke will provide rehabilitation, long-term, respite and palliative care for people with brain injuries and neurodegenerative conditions such as Parkinson’s disease and Huntington’s disease.
