BASINGSTOKE will welcome rising blues star Toby Lee as special guest for Jools Holland's show on Friday, June 14 at The Anvil.
The 19-year-old guitarist and singer is set to play at least 100 shows across the UK and Europe this year, with a minimum of 40 on his own and over 60 as Holland's special guest.
Lee, who was honoured as Young Blues Musician of the Year in 2023, developed his skills on stage, including a stint as Zack Mooneyham in the first West End production of School of Rock.
He's shared platforms with blues icons like Joe Bonamassa, Buddy Guy, Peter Frampton, and Slash.
Partnered by Gibson Guitars since age 10, he is endorsed by Blackstar Amplification and D’Addario Strings.
He's also been involved in songwriting workshops in Texas at the invitation of the Buddy Holly Foundation.
