POLICE are looking for witnesses following a crash in Basingstoke which left two people injured.
The collision occurred between 7.08pm and 7.15pm on Saturday, May 25, involving a silver BMW and a grey Dacia, on the junction of Oakridge Road and Vivian Road.
Two people reported minor injuries as a result of the collision.
A police spokesperson said: “Officers attended the scene and a 20-year-old man from Basingstoke was arrested on suspicion of driving a motor vehicle when alcohol level above limit and failing to stop after a road accident.

“He has been released under investigation, pending further enquiries.
“Since this was reported to us, officers have been carrying out extensive enquiries and are now appealing for witnesses.
“Were you in the area at the time? Did you witness the collision? Did you see the vehicles involved in the moments leading up to the incident?
“Do you have any dashcam footage or CCTV images which may help our investigation?”
