Hampshire’s award-winning gastro-pub The Mutton at Hazeley Heath will be offering a wine pairing dinner this month. 

The event on Tuesday, June 18, held during English Wine Week between June 15 and 23, will be hosted by Chris Unger, sales and marketing director at Hattingley Valley Wines and features a five-course menu with each dish specially paired with a Hattingley Valley wine.

The vineyard in Alresford has received more than 160 medal awards, including 16 trophies and five 'Best in Class' distinctions.

Basingstoke Gazette: The Mutton & Hattingley Valley's wine pairing meal will take place during English Wine WeekGuests will be treated to dishes such as smoked salmon rillette and ham hock and watercress rotolo matched with selected wines from Hattingley’s range.

Rob Boer, The Mutton’s head chef, will round off the meal with a honeycomb cheesecake dessert paired with the 2020 English Gent, a Bacchus and Pinot Gris blend.

Tickets for the event are £50 per person, plus an additional £30 for the wine pairings.
