Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council is repairing the rubber floor of the play park in order to improve safety and maintain a fun environment for children.

The repairs by contractors would require fencing off certain areas of the playground temporarily until the project's completion.
The council has apologised for any inconvenience caused by the necessary maintenance and assured residents that they would provide updates on their social media channels in case of any delays.
It comes after the council closed Eastrop Paddling Pool last month for maintenance work just when the weather warmed up.
