A BODY has been found in the search for a missing 83-year-old man from Farnborough.
John Trodd was last seen when he left his home in a taxi at around 9.15am on Wednesday, June 5.
Police confirm that a body has been found at South Lake, near Yately Road.
Formal identification is yet to take place, but his family have been informed.
A statement from Hampshire Constabulary reads: "Officers searching for missing John Trodd from Farnborough have sadly discovered the body of a man at South Lake off of Yateley Road.
"Formal identification has not yet taken place, but John’s family have been informed. A file will be prepared for the coroner."
