The match comes after 'Stoke youngster Brody Peart transferred to the South Coast side last summer.
In recent weeks dreams of success with the seagulls haven't gone to plan as Peart was released by the club following major changes in the under 21 setup.
'Stoke's pre-season campaign will see the yellow-blue army head up north to face FC United of Manchester, as well as a testimonial match for goalkeeper Paul Strudley against Thatcham Town.
