Popular Isle of Wight Parkdean Resorts holiday parks refurbishment

Thorness Bay, Nodes Point, Landguard and Lower Hyde holiday parks, operated by Parkdean Resorts, welcomed 130,000 holidaymakers last year – marking one of the busiest years on record.

The Island parks already employ almost 400 people and prompted by strong bookings in 2024, Parkdean is looking to raise that number to 750.

With 250 different careers across its business, the company is hiring for a wide range of full-time and seasonal roles, including cleaners, bar and waiting team members, maintenance assistants, lifeguards, security officers, chefs and kitchen assistants.

The recruitment drive comes as the company announced an investment of more than £34m in its parks this year.

This includes the refurbishing of 180 caravans and two new caravans added to the Island parks to improve accommodation options.
