A MAN has been sent to jail for damaging furniture in a Basingstoke property.
Samuel Rolfe, 23, of Attwood Close, Basingstoke, destroyed the furniture valued under £5,000 at the same address.
The incident happened on May 22. He pleaded guilty to the charge.

On May 23, at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court he was jailed for six weeks.
The court said the jail sentence was given due to his wilful and persistent failure to comply with community order.
The court also cited his flagrant disregard for court orders, people and their property as the reasons for custody.
