STAND-UP comedian Nish Kumar will be performing at The Anvil on November 24.

His new show, Nish, Don't Kill My Vibe, promises a satirical commentary on issues ranging from climate collapse and income inequality to the political stance of being a British Indian man.

Kumar, heralded in several prestigious lists for his comedic contributions, comes with a rich track record, including five highly received solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe.

Two of his shows were contenders for the distinguished Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Show in 2015 and 2016.

Nish Kumar (Image: Supplied) His previous tour, Your Power, Your Control, earned critical acclaim when it launched in 2022 and given the popularity was released as a special on Sky Comedy in 2023.

Throughout his career, Kumar has enjoyed much recognition both on television and radio.

He formerly hosted popular programs like The Mash Report and Late Night Mash. Kumar's present times are devoted to the widely followed Pod Save The UK podcast.

He has made numerous appearances on well-known shows like Taskmaster, Live At The Apollo, QI, Have I Got News For You, and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. His role in Netflix's Comedians of The World series and his partnership with Joel Dommett in Joel & Nish vs The World and Josh Widdicombe in Hold The Front Page have been appreciated.

Kumar has demonstrated his creative flair in radio too, with two series of his own show, Spotlight Tonight, for BBC Radio 4. His stint as the host for both The News Quiz and Newsjack brought added laurels including the Rose d’Or for Radio Comedy.

Tickets for the show are set at £26.50, with a concession price of £24 for individuals under 25 and full-time students, inclusive of a £4 booking fee.
