POLICE are searching for a masked e-biker who failed to stop when asked.

The incident happened just after 3pm today, Friday, June 14, on Ancells Road, Fleet.

The man, riding a green and black e-bike, failed to stop and into a nearby wooded area, before he fled the scene.

The man, who was wearing a face covering, had curly hair and blue eyes and is described as being in his late teens to early 20s.

A statement from Hampshire Constabulary reads: "Do you recognise this man?

"Officers investigating a fail to stop incident in Fleet would like to speak with him.

"It comes after a man, riding a green and black e-bike, failed to stop on Ancells Road just after 3pm today (14 June). He then went into a woodland area before fleeing the scene. 

"The rider was wearing a face covering, but had curly hair and blue eyes. He is described as being in his late teens to early 20s.

"Do you recognise the man in the images? We know they aren’t the clearest pictures, but you may recognise the bike instead?
