BASINGSTOKE Academy of Dancing is sending 32 of its brightest talents to represent Team England in the forthcoming Dance World Cup Finals in Prague.

Comprising dancers aged six-19, the team will compete in genres such as ballet, commercial, jazz, and show against global competitors following the qualification of 10 routines – seven solos and three groups.

The team's dance routines have been meticulously choreographed by Tanya Schipelbaum, Charlotte West, co-owners of the academy, and Gabriella White.

Soloists include Darcy Drummond who will be performing two solos, alongside Naomi Clifton, Grace Sweet, Aidan Strachan, Lila Sweet, and Scarlett.

Ahead of this high-profile 10-day event, the team is working tirelessly to bring honour to their country in what is hailed as the world's largest dance competition, with 7,500 international dancers set to participate from approximately 65 countries.
