A MAN from London has been arrested in Basingstoke on suspicion of drugs offences following a proactive stop.
Officers stopped a Vauxhall Corsa on Sinclair Drive at around 2am on Saturday, June 15.
Following a search, suspected Class A drugs and £1,800 in cash were found and seized by officers.
A 45-year-old man from London was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A and driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit.
He has been bailed with conditions while police carry out further enquiries.
