TWO men have been arrested on suspicion of burglary after a large amount of industrial-sized copper cable was found by police.
A 42-year-old man from Portsmouth and a 55-year-old man from Basingstoke have been arrested on suspicion of burglary other than dwelling.
They were both released on police bail until July 22.
Police say they are keen to find out where the cable, believed to have been stolen, could have been taken from.

A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said: "We’ve recovered a large amount of industrial-size copper cable in the Headley area of Basingstoke.
"Suspected stolen, we are keen to find out where it could have been taken from.
"If you work in the area and think you’ve had copper cabling stolen from your premises but have not yet reported it to us, please get in touch.
"A 42-year-old man from Portsmouth, and a 55-year-old man from Basingstoke have been arrested on suspicion of burglary other than dwelling. They have been released on police bail until 22 July.
