A NEW and improved timetable will be introduced for a number of popular routes in Basingstoke.
The changes, which will be introduced by Stagecoach at the end of June, will see more frequent daytime buses on services to Chineham, Buckskin, Kempshott, Hatch Warren and Beggarwood.
More buses will also be provided during the morning peak times, which will 'improve access to work and education' says the bus company.

For residents in Vyne Park, and businesses in Chineham Business Park, bus services will now run every 15 minutes during the weekday peak times, and every 20 minutes during the day on weekdays and Saturdays.
On Sundays, a new service will be introduced along the route, with buses running every 30 minutes during the daytime.
The new timetables will come into force on Sunday, June 30.
The announcement follows previous improvements made to services by the company in May, including a new Sunday service to Kingsclere and Newbury.
Kerry Mansfield, Operations Manager for Stagecoach in Basingstoke said “We’re committed to getting more people to travel by bus and these timetable improvements are because of increasing demand on our services.
"Already, we are seeing some positive impact on timetable changes made last month through BSIP funding and I’m confident this latest package of enhanced services will help to further grow the use of sustainable travel in the area, providing more convenient frequencies for local residents to access work, education and leisure.
"For residents that may not have travelled with us before, our single fares remain capped at just £2 a journey, now is a great time to start using their local bus service, making way for a cleaner, better environment for all.”
To celebrate the launch of the new Sunday timetable, service 20, between Vyne Park and the town centre, will be completely free to use on Sunday, June 30 and all Sundays throughout July.
