A MAN in his 50s was reportedly assaulted outside a pub in Fleet, sparking a police appeal.

Officers were called to the car park outside the De Havilland Arms pub on The Key at 11.04pm on Sunday, June 16 to reports that a man in his 50s had been assaulted.

The man had been punched, kicked and suffered a broken nose, a cut to his ear and bruising to his face.

Hampshire Constabulary said they have been carrying out a number of enquiries and would like to speak to one man.

One of the men is described as being white, around 5ft 6ins tall, aged between 25 and 35, of large build with short mousy brown hair.

He was wearing a long-sleeved blue and white t-shirt, brown or khaki shorts and blue Adidas trainers.

Police added that they would also like to speak with a man who has been described as being white, around 6ft tall, aged between 25 and 35, of average build with straight dark hair.

He was wearing a light-coloured t-shirt and jeans.
