A MAN has been arrested after an iPhone was stolen from the Apple Store in Festival Place.
The incident happened at around 1.36pm yesterday, June 26, when a man entered the Apple Store in Festival Place, Basingstoke, and stole an iPhone.
A PCSO tracked the thief and, following a short foot chase, a 37-year-old man from Swindon was arrested on suspicion of theft by Neighbourhood Enforcement officers.
The phone has been recovered.

A statement released by Basingstoke Cops on Facebook reads: "Recently we highlighted some high-visibility patrols we’ve been carrying out as part of our efforts to combat shoplifting and anti-social behaviour in Basingstoke town centre.
"That work continues. Today officers made an arrest after receiving a report of a theft at the Apple store in Festival Place.
"We were called at 1.36pm to a report that a man had entered the store and taken an iPhone.
"Following CCTV work, some good tracking from a PCSO and a short foot chase, officers from the Neighbourhood Enforcement Team arrested a 37-year-old man from Swindon on suspicion of theft. He is currently in police custody while we carry out further enquiries.
"The phone has been recovered."
