IT WAS reassuring to read in last week’s Gazette that the police reacted ‘within minutes’ to reports of a noisy car meet at Chineham shopping centre.
What was less reassuring was that members of the group which clearly included vehicles with illegally modified and antisocial exhausts were allowed to disperse onto the public roads without, presumably, any action being taken against them.
Perhaps you could ask the police if/why this was the case?
