Upon arrival, firefighters found smoke and flames coming from the roof of a mid-terraced house.
The fire, which originated in a ground-floor conservatory, had spread to the first floor and roof. It affected adjacent properties.
Firefighters used breathing apparatus, jets, and hoses to control and extinguish the fire. Ventilation fans were then used to clear the remaining smoke from the properties involved.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service (HIWFRS) provided fire safety advice to nearby residents before returning to their stations.
This is a breaking incident and we will provide updates when we have them.
