TWO men have been arrested after mobile phones, cash, and cocaine were found after a vehicle was stopped in Basingstoke.

Police stopped a car in Bounty Road at around 1pm on Sunday, June 30. After a search of the vehicle, officers found mobile phones and cash.

Cocaine was found by police during a search of a related address in Basingstoke.

A 20-year-old man from Basingstoke and a 49-year-old from London were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply a Class A controlled drug and a money laundering offence. 

The 20-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of possessing a false identity document.

Both men are in custody while police carry out further enquiries.
