A man has been arrested after tools worth more than £3,000 were stolen from a car in Hampshire.
Police were called to a report that a number of items, including power tools and batteries, had been stolen from a car in Weybourne Road, Aldershot between 10pm on June 29 and 11.30am on June 30.
Officers then received another call at around 10.45pm June 30 to a report that the stolen tools had been seen on Weybourne Road.
A man was stopped by members of the public and was later arrested by officers.
A 35-year-old man from Aldershot has been arrested on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle. He remains in custody at this time, while our enquiries continue.
