We asked them all to provide 100 words telling our readers why they deserved your vote.

Through my job as CEO of a local charity, volunteer work and time supporting local schools, I have become embedded in this community. But I also have broad experience working overseas and in business. I understand how real people live from all walks of live. And, if elected, would like to put the same level of passion and hard work into supporting them and representing them in Parliament.

From soaring rents and mortgage costs to painful waits for NHS treatment, the fallout from the Conservatives’ broken promises has been felt by us all. It’s time for change.

Whilst the Conservative candidate endorsed Liz Truss’s disastrous economic policies, Labour has a costed and optimistic vision for the future. I promise to deliver on the things that matter to you, putting people over politics and representing our towns and villages with pride.

Alex Zychowski - Libertarian Party

The average cost of an MP was over £200,000 in 2020-21- some of them spent much more of our money. I pledge to have the lowest expenses of all 650 Members of Parliament.

Finally I pledge to open all channels of communication possible and make myself physically present as much as possible to hear residents’ concerns because that is exactly what an MP is- a representative of the people

Mohamed Miah - Green Party

Mohamed Miah Mohamed Miah (Image: Mohamed Miah) The Green Party offers a vision for a sustainable and equitable future. I am committed to addressing the climate crisis, enhancing public services, and promoting social causes. By voting for me, you are choosing a candidate who prioritises the well-being of all residents, supports local businesses, and is dedicated to creating a vibrant, resilient community for generations to come. You’re voting for a hardworking person, not a career politician.

Being local matters. For me, North East Hampshire is home.

Together, we’re making progress, whether it’s more money for our local schools, building two new hospitals in our area, or 725 additional police officers on our streets.

You can have a voice in Parliament standing up for our values. But you need to vote for it.

I have the energy and experience to work for North East Hampshire. I know how to get things done.

If I am re-elected, I will do all I can to stand up for our community, and make our country stronger.
