Festival Place-based Nigerian restaurant Afrizi is a finalist for a major customer service award.

The popular independent restaurant is in the running for the Best Customer Service accolade at the Central South Business Awards.

The eco-conscious business, offering a range of delectable Nigerian street foods, is celebrated for its achievements in the region.

Owners Carlee and Ezekiel Osundina take pride in offering authenticity to their customers.

Mr Osundina said: "We’re thrilled to have reached the finals of the Central South Business Awards - and particularly in the Customer Service category, which is incredibly important to us.

"Our hard-working team is dedicated to bringing the very best service to both those loyal returning customers who have been coming to see us for last two years, and also those discovering us for the first time."

FP Marketing Manager Sian Fisher expressed her support. She said: "It’s great to see one of our fantastic independents being recognised like this, and we’ve got our fingers crossed for a well-deserved win!"

The winners will be announced on July 4 at the Leonardo Royal Grand Harbour Hotel in Southampton.
