A BASINGSTOKE man has been charged with attempted burglary and other offences after a string of incidents in the Southampton area.
Max Ryan Plaister, of Worting Road, has been charged with five offences.
They include vehicle interference, attempt burglary dwelling with intent to steal, fail to provide specimen for analysis, fail to stop a mechanically propelled vehicle when required by a constable and common assault of an emergency worker.
It comes after police reports of incidents in Botley, Fair Oak, Bishopstoke and Southampton between Monday, June 17 and Tuesday, July 2.
The 22-year-old appeared at Southampton Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, July 3 and has been remanded in custody to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court next Wednesday, July 10.
