DRIVERS in and around Basingstoke and Deane will have two National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
One of them is expected to cause moderate delays, with motorists facing a wait of between 10 and 30 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

• A303, from 10pm May 19 to 5am September 9, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A34 both directions Bullington Cross to Wash Common, carriageway closure for National Grid works.
And one more closure will begin over the next two weeks:
• A34, from 8pm July 9 to 6am July 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 southbound, Litchfield to Whitchurch, Lane closures for drainage work.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
