I EXTEND my congratulations to our four newly elected Members of Parliament: Kit Malthouse, Damian Hinds, Alex Brewer, and Luke Murphy. Their success in the recent elections is a testament to their hard work in campaigning and the trust that the residents of our borough have placed in them.
As an elected representative I wish them well, serve our communities with diligence and integrity, addressing the diverse needs and aspirations of borough residents.
Our borough is already a fantastic place to live, boasting vibrant communities, excellent schools, beautiful countryside, and a strong local economy. It is crucial that we work together to both protect and enhance these qualities that our residents so greatly appreciate. I am optimistic that Kit, Damian, Alex, and Luke will play pivotal roles in ensuring our borough continues to flourish.
I look forward to collaborating with them all. Their efforts in Parliament will be crucial in shaping policies that benefit our borough, and I am eager to support them in any way possible to ensure that our community continues to thrive.
At the same time, I wish to express my profound gratitude to Maria Miller and Ranil Jayawardena, who were not successful in this election. Their dedication, commitment and hard work over the years have left a lasting impact, and we owe them a debt of gratitude for their public service.
As we move forward, let us unite in our shared commitment to making our borough a better place for all its residents. Together, we can build on our achievements and address the challenges ahead with renewed vigour and optimism.
