XANDER Robinson the scorer of the game winning goal in the play-off final has re-signed for the Basingstoke Buffalo, writes Graham Merry.
Few will forget the superb strike from the 18-year-old forward which sealed victory in the final few minutes over the Haringey Huskies.
Last season was his second full campaign in a Buffs shirt and Robinson finished as their fourth highest goal scorer as he netted 11 times in a points tally of 16 from 22 league games.
He then recorded a point a game in the play-offs including that all important game winner.

The former Basingstoke under-18 captain also made two appearances in the last season of the Basingstoke Bison.
As well as being part of the Buffalo team this campaign, Robinson has also signed a two way deal so he can ice for the Milton Keynes Thunder in the next division up, when his parent club the Buffalo are not in action.
At a recent league meeting it was decided the forthcoming league season will run from early September until March with the play-offs taking place after that.
The clubs also decided to change the points system for competitions with three points now being awarded for a regulation win, two for a shoot-out or overtime win and one for a shoot-out or overtime loss.
Last season it was two points for any type of win and one for losing in overtime.
