A CARE home in Bramley has enjoyed a surprise visit from a motorcycle club.
Residents at Barchester’s Cherry Blossom Manor were pleasantly surprised as members of Bramley Motorcycle Club roared into their car park, with the weather enabling them to meet the bikers and have a closer look at their motorcycles.
General manager Gigi Despojo said: "We absolutely love being able to offer different activities to our residents with chance to relive their younger days.

"It has been a fantastic day and we’ve all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves."
With the aid of social media, the home's wellbeing team arranged the surprise visit.
One of the home's residents had told his daughter of his exploits as a pillion rider on his friends motorcycle after the club's visit.
She had not realised how visual prompts could stimulate memories.
The home's life enrichment programme keeps residents active, and provides a daily choice of physical, mental and spiritual activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities.
Cherry Blossom Manor is run by Barchester Healthcare, one of the UK’s largest care providers, which says it is committed to delivering high-quality care across its care homes and hospitals, and provides nursing, residential and respite care.
