THE Watercress Line is offering several summer events to keep children entertained during the long school holidays.

The popular railway's programme includes visits from beloved children’s characters Bluey and Bingo, as well as the return of Thomas the Tank Engine.

Young fans of Bluey and Bingo can meet the TV favourites from August 9 to 11.

The event will include interactive games and a photo opportunity with the characters. The railway will host a Day Out With Thomas from August 21 to 25, offering children the chance to ride with the famous train.

The event will also feature appearances from Sir Topham Hatt and Rusty and Dusty, as well as Thomas-themed activities. The Watercress Line will host three themed weeks throughout the summer.
