THE Hampshire Countryside Day is making its much-anticipated return.
The event, taking place at the picturesque Bereleigh Estate on Sunday, September 15, promises an exciting celebration of countryside traditions with a variety of activities and competitions.
SHORTS plant hire and waste management are sponsoring the event, which will support the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.
Visitors will have a chance to join in on demonstrations and shop from a wide range of stalls.
A particular draw this year will be the Hound Parade, featuring several local packs. Alongside this, the Hawking About Falconry display team will made their debut.

Additional attractions will include the thrilling Hunt Scurry's inter-hunt relay, shooting demos and talks by Chris Green the Countryman, and dog training displays from Gamegoer of the West Country.
In a new feature for this year, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance will be at the show with a flight simulator, giving the public a unique experience of a helicopter rescue.
The ever-popular terrier racing will be returning as one of the crowd's favourite events.
Raven Field Archers will host a 'have a go' archery session offering everyone a chance to shoot roundels and targets with expert guidance.
Meanwhile, Meon Valley Air Guns will be providing target shooting, and the Wessex Ferret Club's entertaining ferret racing is set to make a comeback.
The family dog show will be on offer with various classes like Best Veteran, Prettiest Bitch, Best Child Handler, and Best Dog Trick.

Gundog owners can look forward to the returning Gun Dog Scurry, with prizes such as rosettes and dog food vouchers up for grabs.
There is also going to be a Lurcher and Terrier Show with exciting, simulated courser and straight racing.
Additionally, the Working Clumber Spaniel Society will be present, giving an insight into their work.
Visitors can also look forward to a food and drinks stand with delicacies like pizza, hog roast, and cornish pasties.
Stalls will be brimming with crafts, clothing and sporting goods enabling visitors a wide shopping experience.
The event will start at half 9 in the morning and run till five in the evening.
Admission is £15 for adults with under 16s getting in for free.
