A FITNESS club has announced the opening of a new site in Basingstoke.
Working in partnership with Bourne Education Trust, Lifestyle Fitness has taken over the management of the Everest Sports Centre, at Everest Community Academy, in Popley.
The club hopes to further develop the centre as a community hub for members, students, teachers and residents.
Lifestyle Fitness managing director, James Lawrence, said: "We are beyond thrilled to announce the launch of our new site in Basingstoke.

The site currently boasts a large, high-spec gym with a range of cardio kit, weight machines, a free weight section (which also includes a squat rack), and a large functional zone, as well as a spacious studio for classes and dance.
Outside the gym floor, the club also has a range of sports facilities which include two artificial 3G pitches, an indoor sports hall and Multi-use Games Area, as well as community spaces including an 80-seat theatre, conference rooms and community lounge.
A representative from Bourne Education Trust said: "Lifestyle Fitness have considerable experience in the leisure industry and their involvement will ensure the centre continues to thrive as an invaluable resource for both the school and the local community.
“We look forward to working in partnership with Lifestyle Fitness to ensure the future success of the centre and a continued growth in membership."
The club opened to new members on Monday, July 1.
