A BMW driver has been charged after he was pulled over by police who found a knife inside the vehicle.
James Nicholls, 20, of no fixed abode, has been charged with possessing a knife blade in a public place and failing to provide a specimen for analysis.
Officers from Hampshire Constabulary stopped a BMW at Popham Services on the Westbound A303 just after 1pm on Monday, July 15 and found a knife inside the vehicle.
They also charged Nicholls with driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence and using a motor vehicle without third party insurance.
Nicholls is due to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court Wednesday, July 17.
