MAGISTRATES have disqualified a man after he caught drug driving in Basingstoke.
Harry Jinks was driving a BMW 1 Series on Worting Road on January 16 when he was stopped. It was found that he had 3.7 micrograms per litre of delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) – the legal limit is two.
At Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on June 27, the 22-year-old pleaded guilty to the offence.
Along with being disqualified for three years, Jinks, of Alton, was fined £80 and ordered to pay £85 court costs and an £85 victim surcharge.
