HOT-SHOT Hallam Wilson one of the Basingstoke Buffalo player coaches last season has joined the Berkshire Bees, after it was announced last week there will be no ice hockey in Basingstoke this winter.
Wilson along with Paul Petts guided the Buffalo to play-off glory last season, which was their first campaign in charge.
The 26-year-old British forward played a major part in their success as he headed the team’s points scoring in the regular season scoring 45 times in 22 games.

He also added another 30 assists to finish with 75 points which saw him top the league’s scoring.
In play-off and cup games he netted another five times to complete his half century for the season.
Before this he played for the Basingstoke Bison for five seasons and in his final campaign he scored 12 times for the Herd his best return so far.
He joins the newly named Berkshire Bees who include a number of former Herd men and play their home games out of Slough.
Wilson is buzzing about signing for the Bees and said: “I’m looking forward to the upcoming season, It is a new challenge for me, but with a few familiar faces and I am excited about it all.”
