DataFit, a Hampshire data management firm, has donated bamboo pen and pencil sets to year two leavers at Hook Infant School.
The gifts were presented to all 120 pupils during an end-of-year assembly on Tuesday, July 23.
The firm-funded the gifts, under the leadership of CEO Sam Gaskell, who has supported the school since 2023 as a member of its board of governors.
DataFit, established in 2022, provides businesses with data management support.
Ms Gaskell said: "As a local business, it means a lot for us to be able to support local organisations, like Hook Infant School, that we know sit right at the heart of the community.
"We were absolutely delighted to be able to cover the cost of the year two leavers gift and we hope their pens and pencils will be used to bring to life their amazing imaginations over the summer holidays and beyond!"
Jayne Lodder, business manager at Hook Infant School, said: "We’re incredibly grateful to Sam and the DataFit team for their generous donation. We love being able to give our Year Two's a momento to remember their primary school experience but simply could not afford to do it without the generosity of companies like DataFit.
"On behalf of our Year Two pupils, we would like to thank DataFit and Sam personally for her ongoing efforts with the school - it was a joy to see the smile on the children’s faces when they received their gift and I am certain it will be a much treasured possession for each of them for years to come!"
