BASINGSTOKE residents are invited to a garden party marking a retirement living company's 21st birthday.
Churchill Living is extending locals an invitation to celebrate the occasion at a garden party at Austen Lodge, on August 13, from 2pm to 4pm.
The celebratory event will also usher in Churchill Living's refreshed brand - formerly known as Churchill Retirement Living - as part of a shift to target lifestyle in the over-60s sector.
The new branding aims to underline that both Churchill and its customers put "living" at the core of their agenda rather than just "retirement".
Those attending the garden party will have the chance to soak up the summer sun, enjoy live music in the communal gardens, and chow down with cream tea and bubbly.
It's an opportunity to mingle with existing Churchill Owners and discuss the new lifestyle they're enjoying.
At Austen Lodge, where the festivity will take place, visitors who might be interested in acquiring an apartment should act swiftly, as half the development has already been bought.
Churchill’s senior regional marketing manager Caroline Haswell said: "Our summer garden party is the perfect opportunity to bring together existing and prospective Churchill Owners, to celebrate Churchill Living’s rebrand and our 21st birthday.
"It also offers a chance for local people to come and experience first-hand the fun and sociable lifestyle that comes with a brand-new Churchill apartment.
"We’ll have plenty of treats and great entertainment on offer, as well as the chance to chat to our owners and meet our friendly sales team.
"We can’t wait to welcome everyone to join the party and see for themselves the wonderful community we have here."
Austen Lodge is an array of energy-efficient one and two-bedroom apartments, equipped with roomy spaces throughout, currently open for sale.
It's ideally designed for people over 60 and is outfitted with an owners’ lounge, a guest suite for friends and family to stay, a lodge manager, and a 24-hour emergency careline service.
