POLICE are appealing for information after a van was stolen while parked outside a shop in Overton.
Just before 7.15am on Tuesday, July 9, the owner of a white Peugeot Partner van reported it had been stolen while it was parked outside a shop on Winchester Street, Overton.
It had only been parked there for a short time and when he returned to his vehicle, he found it had been stolen.
A police spokesperson said: "Since this was reported to us, officers have been carrying out various enquiries and are appealing for any information which may help.
"Were you in Winchester Street at the time of the incident? Do you live or work in the area and have CCTV at your premises that could help?
"If you have any information please contact us online or on 101 quoting 44240289577."
