MAGISTRATES have fined a Dorking man after he was caught speeding on the A303 at Popham.
Stephen Dallyn was spotted driving a Land Rover on the dual carriageway at 80mph – the speed limit is 70.

At Aldershot Magistrates’ Court on July 8, Dallyn admitted the offence, which took place on December 5, 2023.
The 72-year-old was fined £122 and had his licence endorsed with three penalty points. He was also disqualified from driving for six months.
If a driver has accumulated 12 points or more on their driving licence within three years they will be disqualified from driving. The court record does not state when Dallyn incur previous points.
Dallyn must pay £110 court costs and a £49 surcharge fee.
