Hook & Newnham Basics' prospects of progress in the Southern Premier League T20 Cup ended with a five-wicket quarter-final defeat by St Cross Symondians at the KGV.
They were dismissed for 90 and beaten with seven overs to spare by the Winchester club.
It was the second consecutive day Hook's batting collapsed - OTs & Romsey whisking them out for 108 in a rain wrecked Division 2 match, where only Will Gardner (31) made his mark.
OTs had made 44-1 when the game was abandoned.
To compound Hook's misery, the second team was bowled out for 132 (Usman Ijaz 52) and beaten by seven wickets at Premier 3 promotion chasing Parley.
