A SECOND man is confirmed to have suffered "serious" injuries following a multi-vehicle crash on a major road near Basingstoke.
As previously reported, the crash, which is confirmed to have involved two military vehicles, happened at around 11am this morning, Saturday, July 27, on the A34.
Police previously confirmed that a man in his 30s suffered a "serious" injury to his leg and was taken to hospital.

It has now been confirmed that a second man in his 20s has also been taken to hospital with a "serious" injury to his arm.
Police confirmed that the injuries suffered by both men are not life-threatening.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary told the Gazette: "Two men have suffered serious, but non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision on the A34 earlier today.

"A man in his 30s suffered a serious injury to his leg and has been taken to hospital.
"Another man in his 20s suffered a serious injury to his arm and has been taken to hospital.
"Both the northbound and southbound carriageways remain closed while the emergency services deal with the incident.

A spokesperson for the MoD told the Gazette: “We are aware of a road traffic collision involving two military vehicles.
"The incident is currently under investigation, therefore it would be inappropriate to comment further."
