AN EMPTY unit at the Top of Town has been put on the market to let following the closure of Timpson.
Timpson, which offers services including shoe repairs, key cutting, watch repairs, engraving and phone repairs, has closed its branch in Market Place.
A sign on the window advises customers of its alternative branch in Festival Place.

It adds: “We’re sorry for any inconvenience and look forward to seeing you again soon.”
The empty 382 sq ft unit has now been advertised for let for £23,000 per year.
Described as a ‘rarely available’ retail premises in a ‘prime location’ the unit is on the corner of Market Place and London Street and has a small staff area behind an open plan retail area.
