THE roof and first floor of a house in Chineham have been destroyed by a fire after a shed caught fire.
Firefighters from Basingstoke, Odiham and Tadley tackled the blaze in Fox's Furlong after being called at around 8.30pm on Sunday, July 28.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service (HIWFRS) said no one was injured in the fire which is believed to have started accidentally in a shed of a nearby property, which then spread.

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used hose reels and jets to stop the blaze before cutting away and damping down to ensure the fire was fully extinguished.
Ventilation fans were used to clear smoke.
The roof and first-floor of the building were destroyed by fire and water.
A statement from HIWFS said: “The incident was scaled down following the stop message at around 10.30pm, before HIWFRS delivered community safety materials to a number of properties in the area.
“One crew is set to return to the scene this morning to conduct a reinspection, checking for remaining hotspots.”
