YOUNG martial arts stars who train at a Basingstoke academy won an impressive 25 medals a recent national competition.
Students from Shin Gi Tai Martial Arts Academy, in Armstrong Road, brought home the medal haul from the Junior National Qingda Competition, in Burgess Hill.

The medals included nine Gold, seven Silver and nine Bronze.
Academy coaches were ‘extremely proud’ of every student’s hard work, skill, team support and sportsmanship.
Coach Ollie Andrews, who led training for the national competition, said: “The tournament was really well run, the community of competitors, parents and supporters was incredibly strong and it was great to have so many members of Shin Gi Tai competing and doing so well at a national competition.”
