A POPULAR festival which brings together the Sherfield community celebrated its 10th anniversary earlier in July.
Sherfest was held at Sherfield Park Community Centre on Saturday, July 6, and was ‘bigger and better than ever’.
Along with its 10th anniversary, the event also marked 20 years since the first resident moved in to Sherfield Park.
During the day music lovers were treated to an afternoon of non-stop performances by bands included The Boundaries, The 483’s and vocalist Riley K.

Youngsters and animal lovers were treated to Mill Cottage Farm Experience, along with a climbing wall and a leap of faith.
There was also entertainment from all the family, including Juggling Jake, The Drum Runners and Natural Basingstoke, and the England Euro 2024 quarter-final match against Switzerland in the hall.
A wide range of food was available including from Journey Kitchen.
A Sherfest spokesperson said: “None of this would have been possible without all of our wonderful sponsors and volunteers including Sherfield Park Parish Council.”
Organisers also thanked Basingstoke Community Radio for their support.
People are being encouraged to save the date for the next Sherfest on Saturday, July 5 from 12noon to 8pm.
