Man, 53, given community order for possession of indecent images of children
A MAN from Tadley has been given a community order after he was found in possession of hundreds of indecent images of children.
Peter Wade, 53, of Birch Road in Tadley, was sentenced for keeping nine Category A, 11 Category B and 213 Category C indecent images of children in his possession on August 17, 2022.
After he pleaded guilty to the charges, Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court gave him a community order of 45 days of rehabilitation activity.
He also needs to undertake 150 hours of unpaid work within 12 months.
The court ordered forfeiture and destruction of his mobile phone and laptop.
He will be placed in police register for five years under Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
