FLOODS across Basingstoke caused heavy disruption with roads closed, heavy traffic and reduced train services affecting residents.
Heavy rain hit Basingstoke on Thursday evening, with flash flooding across the town.
A yellow weather warning for thunderstorms was put in place by the Met Office until midnight on August 1.

Drivers were forced to navigate flooded roads causing large queues of traffic. Train passengers also faced cancellations and delays as the railway was affected by the rainfall between Basingstoke and Hook.
Residents shared pictures of the flash foods in their area. David Dry sent his images of the flooding in Eastrop Park, which has forced the paddling pool and boathouse to close.
Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council has said: "We’re sorry to let you know that the paddling pool and boathouse at Eastrop Park are temporarily closed due to flooding, following last night's heavy rain.
"We are working as quickly as we can to reopen both facilities as soon as possible and we will keep you updated.

"The play area at Eastrop Park and the council’s other water play facility, the splash pad at Chineham Park, are open."
Charlie Bird Wisniewski shared a picture on the Basingstoke Gazette Camera Club of a rubber duck enjoying the rain pooled up on her patio, whilst Michelle Williamson sent an image of her water-logged garden.
