HOOK and Newnham Basics seamer Jack Murrell has written himself into the Southern Premier Cricket League's Bowling Hall of Fame with his sensational 9-29 return against Andover at London Road.
They were the third best bowling figures in the Premier League's 25 year history and, by some distance, Murrill's career-best.
They led to relegation threatened Andover being skittled for 66 after Hook had posted 215 to win by a massive 154 runs.

Hook skipper Josh Buckingham, who was behind the stumps, described it as: "The single greatest spell of bowling I have ever seen.
"Jack bowled at pace with big in-swing for the full 10 overs. With a mixture of full and short pitched deliveries, he looked like taking a wicket almost every ball."
Murrell had five Andover batsmen caught, two bowled and a couple more trapped leg before - but left himself only two balls to grab a tenth record breaking wicket.
"I'd bowled 9.4 overs when the ninth wicket went down, so there wasn't much left before I finished my ten over allocation. "Charlie Neville replaced me and got the tenth Andover wicket with his third ball," Murrell laughed.
Rupert Armstrong, who joint top scored with Matt Buckingham (40) for Hook, bowled ten unrewarded overs at the other end. Teen Ollie Williams made 39 not out.
